I am looking for the closest casino to the Chicago area that offers gambling to persons 18 and up. I know that they exist, but the only ones I have been able to find are in California. I am just wondering if there are any closer casinos that I can visit.

A friend and I were at a casino in AC gambling and we are both only 19. If you win under a certain amount you can cash in at a machine, and you don’t even have to talk to anyone to get your money…I was wondering though what would happen if we hit the jackpot and they found out we were underage? Would we get arrested? Someone said we would lose our liscense….? Does anyone know what would really happen?

How does one acquire a gambling license, to start a casino hotel for example? How does one get the machines, the insurance for the slots? And how difficult is it to acquire these licenses, what are the requisites and a generic estimate of the investment required to start off? Oh and by the way the states of which I’m inquiring specifically about are Puerto Rico and Nevada.
By the way Puerto Rico is a common wealth a colony of sorts, or a territory of the US where gambling is legal.

What are some reasons to why casino gambling is good? What about why it’s bad?

I would like more reasons to why you think it’s good though please. :]
