I recently went to Atlantic City and stayed at the Econo Lodge for $40/night. We took a bus from New York City to Bally’s and Bally’s reimbursed us $22 off our bus fare. There are also discount buffets, mc donalds, pizza shops, chinese food, and dellis that allow affordable eating.

I have never been to foxwoods, so I don’t know what is there or how to structure a trip. I can get an inexpensive bus from NYC I know that, but as far as eating and sleeping, I don’t know how to do that on a budget. I don’t have a car.

With a car, I know I can always stay on the CA/NV state line for $20/night and a 3 star hotel, so I know there are similar secrets to the vegas area.

If anyone can let me know any tips or tricks to living ‘lightly’ while in CT at foxwoods or Mohegan Sun let me know.

Great story about the girl who complained and got a comped room. I’m not looking to scam anyone–I just want to do it on a tight budget–we aren’t big gamblers but enjoy the casino environment.

I’m going to be booking a nights stay at the Tropicana in Atlantic City. Are there any special promotion codes that I can use to receive something in return. My last trip to AC, the hotel which we stayed at offered a $25 playing card, does the tropicana offer a similar reward to those which stay at the hotel? Thanks!

You only have to be 18 to gamble in an Indian casino, and me and a good friend who are 19 want to try it out really bad, but I can’t find any Indian casinos near Virginia, not even Atlantic City. Where would the closest one be?

This may ba a dumb question but i am planning a trip to atlantic city for a weekend and have never been to a casino. Do you have to be a guest in a hotel in order to use the casino? Or can you just go casino hopping?

Me and my buddy are pretty solid poker players (amateur, but better than the tourists who only watch on TV), and we are going to visit Atlantic City on either Friday afternoon or Saturday during the day (maybe both). I was just wondering if anyone has any opinions for the best casino?

Which casino has the best limit games, any tournaments on Friday night or Saturday morning, and finally, the best buffet (since we’ll be getting lunch or dinner in AC at some point). Thanks!
